Hug Like You Mean It

Embrace your beloved as if this is the first and last moment you will share. In embracing with complete presence we release inhibition, judgement, self-constraint, self-consciousness and unchecked fear/s.

To embrace completely we must relinquish the need to control. To control the moment, the ‘outcome’, the other. To embrace sincerely is to bond, reunite, release fear, state your intention and be a beacon of trust and safety for all those you encounter.

To embrace fully, we must choose to release past and present pain, discomfort and tension. We must surrender to that very moment as if it is all that is and all that matters; as if it is the very last moment for our own unique expression to take physical form.

To embrace with depth and substance we must allow ourselves to feel fully. To be vulnerable in our bodies and our emotions. We must add verbiage to what we are feeling and experiencing. To integrate our internal selves with our outward expression and feel the maximal impact of that beautiful and infinite moment.

To embrace with the heart we must know the heart — ours and our beloved’s. To know the heart is to journey deep in to the chasms of possibility and human actualization. It is to ask confidently, to be familiar, to be curious, to be concerned, to be authentic and to be open.

To embrace with childlike wonder and true excitement is to express immersive empowerment and faith in one’s ability to BE love. To allow the entire spectrum of emotion to be both felt and expressed.

To embrace with reverence is to honour and be humbled to your lover and by your LOVING. Men, to choose to bow in humility to your beloved is one of the greatest gifts you can bestow upon your intertwined journeys. Women, to gift your man with your earnest admiration and forgiveness is immensely powerful, soul connecting and enduring.

To embrace with completeness and wholeness is to believe in connection, the art of subtle endearment and cosmic awareness. To not be swayed by internal fracture, past trauma’s or the ignorance of the stubborn ego.

To embrace with a trusting spirit is to surrender to our own innate wisdom and know we are being guided towards deeper levels and expressions of wholeness.

To hold this space and be continuously devoted to being this person is a life worth living, embodying and of course, worth embracing. In simple terms — just hug and hug like nothing else matters.

One is always glad to be of service.
